This is a discussion thread for the two Mario Party Games on the Wii, Mario Party 8 & Mario Party 9.
I'm pretty happy that there is another Mario Party Game. Wii Party was great, but I like Mario Party (even though Wii Party is faster). The car that players ride in is cool (and the fact that there is the traditional way in the game). Mario Party 9 also seems to have a lot of inspiration from New Super Mario Bros. Wii, like one of the board games looking like World 1. Hopefully there are entirely new boards in the game.
We don't know when the game is coming out (though I hope for a 2012 release), but it does look good and adds Koopa & Shy Guy as playable characters.
I also thought Mario Party 8 was a fun game. It did seem very slow, so that was a big problem though. I almost have Mario Party 8 completely done too!
